Interestingly, twelve years ago, the founders claimed an award in an unrelated category, when they became First Place Winners in the Western Hemisphere for a line of non-alcoholic beverages in a new showcase competition, for the 11th Americas Food and Beverage Show. They were judged by a panel of leading food and beverage experts, who selected them as overall winners in the non-alcoholic beverage category. Those beverages went on to become a household staple globally. That company was
eventually acquired in 2014.
